Help us end educational poverty.

SYS Foundation builds a bridge between under-resourced communities and real opportunity across South Africa, through teacher training, equipment, and mentorship that includes coding and robotics education, reaching Early Childhood Development centres, primary schools and high schools who would otherwise be left behind.

A bridge between under-funded schools and companies.

SYS Foundation exists to bridge the gap between ambitious CSI budgets and the communities that need them most, with a sharp focus, structured programmes, and reporting that gives your ESG and CSI teams a credible, repeatable story.

Our Focus

Two essential needs behind everything we do.

We concentrate our efforts on Early Childhood Development centres, Primary Schools and High Schools by focusing on two essential needs.

01

Upskilling Educators

Targeted AI training alongside Coding and Robotics training to ensure teachers are fully confident and equipped to lead in the classroom, because a trained teacher is the one input that keeps paying off long after a funding cycle ends.

02

Providing Equipment

We deliver the essential, future-necessary robotics equipment that underprivileged schools need to run these programmes successfully.

03

Measuring What Matters

Baseline assessments and ongoing reporting mean every funder and every school knows exactly what impact is being made.

Every programme we run follows the same theory of change: train the teacher, equip the classroom, then measure what changed. It's how one funded school becomes the blueprint for the next hundred, and how a single corporate CSI contribution compounds into a measurable, reportable outcome year after year.

Project Highlight

Bovet Primary School, Alexandra.

One of Johannesburg's largest township schools. 2,500 learners. 56 teachers. Limited ICT resources. And now, a 12-month transformation that could change everything for a whole community's next generation.

From zero access to AI-ready classrooms in 12 months.

Bovet Primary is a flagship example of what targeted CSI investment can achieve. With corporate funding, we're deploying Cubroid classroom kits, running 5 cycles of coding and robotics education, and embedding AI literacy across 7 champion teachers who will carry this forward for years to come.
