Apply for funding, the practical way.
Apply for funding from SYS Foundation if your school needs stronger STEM offerings, robotics equipment, teacher training, or AI literacy support for your educators. It only takes a few minutes to tell us about your school and current resources.
Does your school have what it takes to apply for funding?
Are you a school that needs to improve your STEM offerings? Would a strong Coding and Robotics programme help your learners and your community? Would your teachers benefit from being AI literate? If you answered yes, there's a practical way forward.
Most schools that reach out through SYS Foundation are matched to a corporate CSI partner based on readiness, geography, and current partner availability, not on a first-come-first-served basis. That means a complete, honest application, including your current resources and real day-to-day constraints, gets matched faster than a vague one, even if it takes you a few extra minutes to fill in properly.
Tell us about your school.
Let us know what you are doing, show us your current resources, and how you would benefit from robotics equipment and curriculum, teacher development, and AI training. Fill out the form below and upload a short video if you have one.
Prefer to send your details by email instead? Send the same information directly to info@sysfoundation.org.za and our team will follow up.
A simple, transparent process.
We Review
Our team reviews your application against current CSI partner availability and programme fit.
We Assess
A readiness assessment helps us understand your context, resources and needs in more depth.
We Match
Where funding allows, we match your school with a CSI partner and begin planning delivery.
Before you begin, a few honest notes on funding.
We'd rather be upfront than waste your time. Applying for funding does not guarantee a match, it depends on which corporate CSI partners are active in your area and phase at the time you apply. Schools that are already registered as a public benefit organisation or NPO themselves, or that can show clear buy-in from a principal or governing body, tend to move through the matching process faster, though this isn't a hard requirement to apply.
If your school isn't matched immediately, we keep applications on file and revisit them as new CSI partners come on board, so it's still worth applying for funding even if timing doesn't work out on the first pass. We'd genuinely rather have your application sitting in our pipeline for a few months than not have it at all.
